Thank you for your interest in our Central London playtest.
You have been invited to apply by Funcom, who are working with their parent company, Tencent, to conduct user research among members of the Dune: Awakening community.
We’re looking for PC and console gamers aged 18+ to take part in an exciting 1.5-hour, in-person gaming playtest near Liverpool Street in Central London.
The playtests will take place on Monday 5th or Tuesday 6th October 2026, with sessions beginning at 9am, 11am or 1.30pm each day. If selected, you will need to arrive 15 minutes before your session to sign in and help ensure everything begins promptly.
If selected to take part, you will receive a
£100 thank-you payment after completing the playtest, processed by bank transfer on the same day.

We also need a small number of people to remain available on-site for the beginning of all three sessions taking place on one day, ready to step in and participate if required. All-day standby participants will receive a £180 thank-you payment, whether they are asked to take part or not.
💻 Steam ID game progress check
If you appear to meet the criteria and are shortlisted, we will need to verify your gaming experience using your 17-digit Steam ID. Please only apply if you would be comfortable sharing this with us if shortlisted.
Recruitment is being managed independently by research-i, an established UK market research participant recruitment agency specialising in gaming and playtesting. Your information will be used only to assess your eligibility and organise the research. It will be handled securely, shared only with the relevant Funcom and Tencent research teams where necessary, and permanently deleted once it is no longer required following completion of the study.
