We’re looking for experienced PC gamers, aged 18+, to take part in an in-person playtest for an unreleased shooter in Central London.
This one is best suited to players who enjoy tactical shooter gameplay, tense decision-making and the risk-reward challenge of knowing when to push, loot, hold back or extract.
You’ll need to be confident playing with keyboard and mouse, and you should have genuine experience with extraction shooters or similar high-stakes PC shooters.
If selected, you’ll take part in an individual playtest session with a researcher, get hands-on with an unreleased game and share your feedback on the gameplay, combat, systems and overall experience.
Sessions are available on:
📅 Tuesday 21st or Wednesday 22nd July 2026
⏰ 8:30am to 12:30pm or 1:30pm to 5:30pm
📍 Central London (EC3A), near Liverpool Street station
💷 Incentive payment: £150 for the 8:30am session, £130 for the 1:30pm session, £150 for all-day standby if not used, or £170 if used for the afternoon session only
🙋🏻♂️ All-day standby places are also available. Standby testers will need to arrive for the start of the 8:30am session and remain available for the 1:30pm session if required. If you are not needed for either session, you’ll be released shortly after the start of the afternoon session and paid £150. If you are not needed in the morning but are then used for the afternoon session, you’ll be paid £170.
🚨 Please do not apply if you’ve taken part in a playtest near The Gherkin within the past 6 months, as recent participants cannot be accepted.
If this sounds like your kind of session and you’re available on one of the dates above, please complete the screener now. Those selected will be contacted by the research-i team by email and phone over the coming days.
